Depuis novembre 2006, BRIAN SHEMILT est de retour à Montréal après avoir passé 26 ans aux États-Unis et en Angleterre. Depuis toujours son œil d'artiste capte l'imperceptible, il attrape l'éphèmère et transforme par son regard les détails de notre quotidien, qui souvent nous échappent. Ses clichés, pris partout dans le monde, en témoignent et ceux de Montréal le confirment au gré de ses promenades quotidiennes au coeur de la cité.
Il mène parallèlement à sa vie de photographe une brillante carrière dans le domaine du marketing et a collaboré avec ITT, Alcatel Information Systems and Computer Associates. Sorti de la ville, il vit avec son épouse dans les cantons de l'est, magnifique région qui lui offre, on s'en doute, bien des opportunités photographiques...

BRIAN SHEMILT returned to his native Montreal in November 2006 after having lived in the US and the UK for over 26 years.
He became an avid photographer in 1990 and since then has developed a large portfolio of images based on specific themes and from his many international travels. He has also completed photo restoration projects and provided images to a few key clients.
Brian has over 25 years of marketing experience during which time he has held executive management and international marketing positions with ITT, Alcatel Information Systems and Computer Associates. He currently lives with his wife of 35 years in the Eastern Townships.
